We are creating this site to highlight women in the music industry, especially those behind the scenes. They deserve the recognition that their artists are getting. We want to hear about the crew, the production team, the photographer, the promotions team, the managers. Any woman behind the show in the industry.
Let’s empower each other and lift each other up. Let’s stand tall and work together, let’s celebrate accomplishments.
Cheyenne graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in music business and public relations this past May. She just moved to London to get her Masters in International Marketing at King's College London. She has two years of social media experience in the music industry which she hopes to continue after she graduates from KCL. When she's not working or studying, you can catch her at a festival or show. She loves WIMI and enjoys learning about amazing women in the industry.
Kenzie recently graduated with a BA in Psychology from Cleveland State University. Always having a passion for the music industry, she realized that there is no place for women who are in the industry to be recognized, thus founding WIMI. Apart from WIMI, she interns at Riveter Management and is a digital marketing assistant at JV Agency. She also is a huge volleyball fan, having played for 15 years and coaching. She is very excited to get to hear about all these incredibly talented women.
